In
Memory of Sly Manivong
This year as we take to the track to walk and run in memory
of our babies who died so soon, we will also remember Sly Manivong
who died at age 34 of heat stroke at the
2008 Noah’s Quest.
Last year many of Sly’s friends wore brightly colored sarongs while
participating in the event. They came to be with others who are
honoring the memory of a loved one. Sly’s family has experienced
the grief we know, and his death reminds us once again how fragile and
precious life is.
